A Better Solution in Home Care offers caregiving services to our aging population in the comfort of their own homes.
We collaborate with our community partners to provide comprehensive, wrap-around care to our clients. Our services encompass everything from assistance with ADLs to memory care integration, with a unique specialty in supporting neuro client care and remote health monitoring.
Our Care Story
Our managing partners, Mike & Anita Hoskin, began their A Better Solution in Home Care franchise locations after assisting their parents as caregivers until each of them passed away. This culture of care continues within our company as every member of the leadership team has served as a caregiver, and every client is treated as if they were a member of our own family.
Lia Smith, the CEO of ABSIHC, our parent company, was a caregiver and CNA, worked in skilled nursing and private duty, and is currently on the State Association for Health Services in the Home, fighting for legislation and the rights of seniors & caregivers. She has written two books, “Aging with Dignity” and “The Home Care Bible”. She opened A Better Solution in Home Care in 2000 to provide Better Care to seniors.
Our Specialties
Non-Medical Care
A Better Solution in Home Care delivers wraparound service to our clients through a wide range of pay options, including Private Pay, Long Term Care, VA, and Medicaid. Client services include non-medical senior care, wellness, neuro client care, and memory care facility assimilation.
Neuro Care
A Better Solution in Home Care provides non-medical care required by our neuro clients (i.e. stroke, ALS, Parkinsons) through specially trained caregiving staff. We work with community partners to provide wraparound care for our clients.
TrueCare
We offer support to help clients manage chronic conditions at home. Chronic conditions are monitored against established client history and reported back to the clients as well as required senior care providers. All trueCare clients are given access to 24/7 Virtual Care Companion or healthcare professionals via Telehealth and are also eligible for full-service in-home care when needed.
